Service Call Rates & Pricing Update:

At It’s On Electric, we believe in transparency, quality, and value. To simplify billing and eliminate surprises, we’ve introduced a flat-rate pricing model for all standard residential and light commercial service calls.

Flat Fee: $600 per Service Call

Our flat-rate fee includes everything most homeowners need for a typical service visit — no hidden charges or unexpected add-ons.

 

Each service call includes:

• Up to 3 hours on-site labour

• Travel time to get to/from site

• Licensed electrician and service vehicle equipped with common tools and materials

• Truck and supply charges (no separate “shop fees” or mileage fees)

• Basic troubleshooting, diagnostics, and minor repairs

• Written report or invoice summary of work performed

 

This flat fee structure ensures you know exactly what to expect before we arrive — providing fair, consistent pricing and professional service every time. 

 

Note:  A 50% deposit will be required in order to book any work.

What’s Covered Under a Standard Service Call

• Troubleshooting outlets, switches, or lighting issues

• Diagnosing tripped breakers or partial power loss

• Small fixture installations or replacements

• Replacing smoke detectors, dimmers, GFCIs, or thermostats

• Electrical safety checks and minor wiring repairs

Additional Costs (When Applicable)

Some situations fall outside of our standard 3-hour flat-rate visit. If additional time or specialized materials are required, we’ll always discuss options and get your approval before proceeding.

Possible additional charges may include:

• Extended labor time: $150/hr after the included 3 hours

• After-hours or weekend rates: billed at 1.5× the regular rate

• Permit fees or inspection costs (if required by the municipality)

• Materials or equipment (e.g., breakers, panels, EV chargers, light fixtures)

• Major upgrades or rewiring projects: custom quoted after site assessment​
